Terms of Service
The rules for using Aurea — what we offer, what we ask of you, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Acceptance
By creating an account on Aurea, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. Aurea is available at planwithaurea.com and is operated from Maputo, Mozambique.
What Aurea is
Aurea is an application for organising a wedding: guests, budget, suppliers, tasks, documents, the run of show for the day, and a public invitation with replies.
Aurea does not organise your wedding for you, is not an agency, does not broker contracts with suppliers, and does not process payments to suppliers. Any agreement you make with a supplier is between you and that supplier.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- The information you give when creating an account must be true.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens in your account.
- If you invite someone else — your partner, whoever is helping you plan, or family — you decide what that person can see and do.
If you suspect someone has accessed your account, write to us at ola@planwithaurea.com.
What you put into Aurea
What you write and upload remains yours. We claim no ownership over your words, photographs or documents, and we do not use them to promote Aurea without your written permission.
You give us only the technical permission needed to store and display that content within the service — including, once you publish your invitation, displaying it publicly at your invitation's address.
By uploading content, you confirm that you have the right to do so. In particular:
- Do not upload photographs you do not hold rights to.
- When entering guest information, you confirm that you may legitimately do so and that you answer to those people for that information.
- Do not use Aurea for anything illegal, to harass anyone, or to send unsolicited communications.
The venue catalogue
Aurea includes a catalogue of venues and information about them — capacity, noise curfews, catering rules and other facts. We gather that information carefully and record where it came from and when it was confirmed, and anything we have not confirmed is shown as unknown rather than guessed.
Even so, always confirm directly with the venue before deciding or paying. Information can change without being reported to us, and we are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of the catalogue alone.
We are not paid by any venue to appear in the catalogue or to appear in a particular order. If that ever changes, it will be clearly identified.
Invitations and replies
When you publish your invitation, it becomes reachable by anyone holding the address, without an account or a password — that is how an invitation works. A person with the address can reply by giving a name that is on your list.
To be clear about a current limitation: Aurea does not verify the identity of the person replying. If that matters to you, confirm replies with your guests. You can stop accepting replies or unpublish the invitation whenever you want.
Early stage and availability
Aurea is early. We are opening to a small group of couples, features may change, and some parts of the application are marked as not yet built.
We do our best to keep the service available and your information safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue something significant, we will give notice and a way to export what is yours.
Pricing
Aurea is currently free for the couples using it. We have not decided on pricing. If we begin charging, we will give notice in advance, and we will not start charging for something you are already using without giving you the choice.
Ending
You can stop using Aurea whenever you like, and ask for your account to be deleted by writing to ola@planwithaurea.com.
We may suspend or close an account being used for something illegal, to harm another person, or to harm the service. Except where that is not possible, we will explain why and give you a chance to respond.
Liability
Aurea is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect losses, nor for decisions about your wedding — including bookings, payments and agreements with suppliers — made on the basis of information shown in the application.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will say so in the application before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page always indicates the version in force.
These terms are governed by Mozambican law.
